Here you can visit the old city cemetery, the old lighthouse (historic monument, which was built in 1878. At that time it was the point where the Danube met the Black Sea. Today it stands at over 1.5 km from the seashore. It emits a white light, fixed, visible on clear nights at a radius of 36km. The light is placed in the focus of 27 parabolic mirrors made of polished metal), The New Lighthouse (Monument of secular architecture, the new lighthouse is a modern building of 59m height. It was built in 1982 as a ship lighthouse) and the Palace of the European Commission of the Danube Delta (Monument of secular architecture, built in 1860 by the European Commission of the Danube, in the neoclassical architectural style.). You can choose to spend the rest of your time at the beach on the Black Sea coast (The beach has a width of about 100 m down south and a length of about 4.2 km. It has fine grain sand. The beach is equipped with toilets and showers and is 2 km away from the city).

Once you return to the ship, in the afternoon, you will serve lunch while the ship will leave Sulina heading towards Magearu Canal. You will go for about 4 hours. In the evening the ship will dock on the canal and you will dine here. The remaining of the day can be spent at will.

Letea is located in the north of the Delta, east of  Rosetti village. The protected area covers only part of the total area of the forest. This part was placed under protection since 1930 and became natural reserve in 1938. The forest is developed in the form of wide strips, in the spaces between the sand dunes. The abundance of climbing plants is a feature of the forest. You can find here wild vines, hops, tendril and greek vine, which gives a mediterranean look to the forrest. However, there were identified over 2000 species of insects, sand vipers, eagles, three species of hawks, ravens, etc. Also in this area you can see the famous wild horses. All these species of plants and animals, some of them very rare or with special features, have made this forest require special attention for the conservation and preservation of its natural values.
